What is Barn Hunt?

The exciting new dog sport of Barn Hunt is spreading across the country like wildfire and dogs are burning with excitement to get their rat on.  Modeled after the work performed historically by itinerant ratcatchers and their dogs, barn hunt stirs a desire deep within a dog's psyche.

Many dogs attended informal barn hunts for years at dog club events. Barn Hunt Association, LLC, founder Robin Nuttall has taken it to a whole new level by developing rules, a sanctioning organization, and a title structure. BHA is an independent organization and the American Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club recognize titles earned through BHA.
