Susan Kelly is an Elementary Physical Education teacher and has coached Fast Pitch Softball at the High School level for 19 years. She has been named both Teacher and Coach of the Year.  She started showing horses at age 2 and went on to win multiple All Around Performance Awards from National Breed clubs along with High Points in the Nation, National Championships and a World Championship.  After college Susan transferred her horse knowledge to the dog show world where her beloved boxers have earned multiple Top Performance Awards and Conformation Awards from the American Boxer Club and the American Kennel Club.
 

Susan is a breeder, owner, handler of her own dogs.  She recently finished her 41st owner handled bred by Boxer in conformation. Throughout the years she has produced 3 Dams of Merit, a Sire of Merit, Dam Producing the Most Champion Get Award and the Top Dam and Top Sire of Merit producing the Most Titled Performance Get Award for ABC.  They have earned multiple Grand Championships, a Bronze Championship, an AKC Best In Show, BIS Puppy, several BIS Bred By Dog awards and qualified for the NOHS the past 4 years.  Many of these dogs have gone on to earn Agility, Rally, Obedience, Trick Dog, Farm Dog, TDI and Barn Hunt titles.   She is a member of the American Boxer Club, Boxer Club of Louisiana, the Houston Boxer Club, Deep South All Breed Obedience Club, Therapy Dog International, a licensed Barn Hunt Judge and a cofounder of NOLA Barn Hunt Friends, LLC.  

One of her most memorable accomplishments was with CH MACH 6 Cruiser.
 
Cruiser was the 1st Boxer in the history of the breed to earn both a Conformation Championship and a MACH in agility.  Cruiser  earned several BOB and Group placements in the conformation ring and went on to set many records in the Boxer Agility ring which still stand today. He was also awarded #1 Agility Boxer 3 years in a row from AKC and ABC, Top performance Dog, High In Trial Agility Dog at back to back ABC Nationals, earned 3 MACHs in one year, earned over 100 THD hours and was featured in a Eukanuba dog food commercial. He was a true “Working Dog”.
